Rosemary - Rosmarinus officinalis - is part of the Lamiaciae
family of essential oil producing herbs that also include sage, lavender,
basil, thyme, and oregano. Used for centuries in religious and magical
ceremonies in place of incense, as a hair rinse to control dandruff
or prevent baldness, or as a cure for coughs.Traditionally used in
aromatherapy as a stimulant for memory and concentration, as an expectorant
in respiratory diseases, or to alleviate muscular aches and poor circulation.
Poor concentration - vaporize 2 drops of Rosemary oil
in a vaporizer for 1 hour in the work or study place. Alternate with
other oils if you are working intensively for longer periods.
Poor circulation, muscular aches - add 3 drops of rosemary
oil to 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and rub into the soles of the feet
to stimulate circulation. This blend may be applied to any aching areas.
